SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A three-year-old girl was taken to the hospital Wednesday after being hit by a truck in Kearny Mesa.
According to San Diego Fire-Rescue, a Dodge Ram truck hit the young girl near the Spectrum Center Boulevard and Promenade Park Terrace after 2 p.m.
The girl was conscious and breathing when she was taken to the hospital, according to the department.

Police say the driver stayed at the scene.
