A milk truck flipped over on its side after a crash involving a semi, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened around 11:50 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 61 between Kelly Lane and Longbranch Road.
Gerald Busch, 64, of Cuba City, was driving a milk truck owned by a company out of Iowa named Simon Brothers Trucking, according to the release.
He was driving north on Highway 61 when a semi veered into his lane.
David Hellerud, 25, of La Crosse, was driving the other semi, which is owned by Reinhart Food Service in La Crosse.
Witnesses reported seeing the two trucks against each other. They also told deputies that Hellerud’s truck forced the milk truck onto the shoulder, causing it to flip over.
Hellerud continued driving north on Highway 61 and was pulled over by a Grant County deputy, according to the release.
The milk truck was heavily damaged in the crash. The other semi only had damage to its ride side.
Neither driver was hurt, according to the release.
