ROSCOMMON COUNTY, MI -- A snowmobiler was not injured after plunging through the ice Sunday afternoon on Houghton Lake in Roscommon County, police said.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Houghton Lake Post responded around 12:40 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19 to Holly Avenue in Prudenville where a snowmobile had gone through the ice on the East Bay of Houghton Lake.
The rider refused medical treatment, police said. A short time later, two additional snowmobiles went through the ice approximately 1,000 feet south from the same area.
One truck has also broken through the ice Sunday on the lake.
No injuries were reported by police in connection with any of the incidents.
